Christmas trees are now available from Greenshutters Garden Centre at Fivehead near Taunton.  All our Christmas trees are British-grown and most prices are  the same as last year.  We have our usual top quality range of trees including the traditional Norway Spruce, the low-needle drop Nordman Fir and Fraser Fir as well as a greater selection of pot-grown and potted Christmas trees including the new “Super-Blue” Spruce. All our trees are displayed out of their nets to keep them fresh and to allow you to choose your perfect tree although we will net them back up for you so they are easy to get in a car. We can also deliver – delivery is free to Fivehead, Curry Rivel, Isle Brewers and Curry Mallet.

We have had a wonderful autumn with lots of sunshine. There have been a few light frosts earlier than we have become accustomed to but the storms have held off until recently.

We have our new crop of fruit bushes ready for sale including raspberry canes, blueberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, whitecurrants, gooseberries, tayberries and loganberries as well as a range of new and unusual fruits such as boysenberries, honeyberries and gojiberries. Now is a great time to plant to produce a harvest next summer and autumn.
